We support the students with some international exposure programs such as Dual Degree, Exchange, Short program, and International Competition.

Please find the appropriate program for you on our website. Then, to register yourself in the program, you can submit all the documents required to outgoing.feb@ugm.ac.id. The person in-charge will nominate you to join the program and you will be contacted directly by the host university.

We have some schemes for the dual degree program.

1. 3+1, you have to complete 3 first years of your study at FEB UGM and 1 last year at the host university. The thesis will be done at the host university.
2. 2+1.5+0.5, you have to complete 2 first years of your study at FEB UGM then 1,5 years at the host university. After that, you are required to come back to FEB to do the thesis.
3. 2+2, you have to complete 2 first years of your study at FEB UGM then 2 years at the host university as well. For RSM, the thesis will be done at the host university. However for UniMelb, the thesis will be done at FEB UGM.

 Normally, an exchange student will study at the host university for one semester. However, the student can extend the study period into 1 year as long as the host university can accommodate it.

• For the exchange program, the students don’t need to pay the tuition fee at the host university but are required to pay the tuition fee at FEB UGM.
• For the dual degree program, there are two schemes of tuition fee payment for the dual degree program.

1. Waived tuition fee

There are some partner universities that the tuition fee is waived so the students don’t need to pay the tuition fee at the host university but still have to pay the tuition fee at FEB UGM every semester. 

1. Pay the tuition fee at the host university & enrollment fee at FEB UGM

There are some partner universities that require the students to pay the tuition fee there and the amount of the tuition fee is different from each other. On the other hand, the students also need to pay the enrollment fee to FEB UGM from Rp. 5.000.000 during the dual degree program.

• For the short program, normally the students don’t need to pay the tuition fee at the host university. However, usually there is a program fee that the students need to pay to the host university. 

Dual degree program means the student will get two degrees from home and host universities. Even though the exchange program is conducted for 1 year, the exchange student will only get one degree form FEB UGM which is S.E. (Sarjana Ekonomi)

Normally, the students will do the credit transfer after taking the international exposure program. The documents you need to submit for the credit transfer are:

1. Learning agreement signed by the head of study program
2. Official transcript
3. Syllabus of the chosen courses
4. Thesis manuscript (only for dual degree program)
5. Testimony

Yes, you do. Community service is mandatory for every UGM student. It is one of the requirements to graduate from UGM.

Usually, the students will do the community service after taking the dual degree program but as long as you have completed 100 SKS without an E score, you are eligible to do the community service. Further information regarding the community service can be accessed through https://kkn.ugm.ac.id/.

Unfortunately, FEB UGM hasn’t provided the scholarship yet. We highly suggest you contact scholarship@ugm.ac.id or the PIC of the host university regarding the scholarship availability.
