SOPHIA UNIVERSITY SHORT-TERM PROGRAM 2022

In 2022, the January Session will be hosted entirely online, with all courses conducted live or with a mix of real-time and on-demand classes to maximize both interaction with lecturers and fellow students and flexible delivery across different time zones. By participating in scheduled live classes and completing on-demand lessons, you will be able to delve into Japanese language, culture and contemporary social issues, and earn credits upon successful course completion, wherever you are in the world.

JAPANESE STUDIES COURSES

*You can choose from a maximum of three of the following courses*

・Japanese Business and Economy

・Media and Contemporary Issues in Japan

・Contemporary Japanese Culture and Society

・Perspectives in Intercultural Communication: Japanese Communication and Culture

Requirements:

  • FEB UGM’s Bachelor/Master/Doctor students
  • A minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
  • English language proficiency (TOEFL/iBT79,TOEFL/PBT:550,IELTS:6.0)
